2. Data and purposes

2.1Data. What the User enters when registering: name and email and, optionally, country, WhatsApp, company, role, interests, line of business and proposed topic. Also the date, time, IP address and page of origin of the registration, technical browsing data and any messages the User sends.

2.2Purposes. Managing the registration; sending Eventos Latam news and information by email and, if a number was left, on WhatsApp; answering inquiries and evaluating proposals; protecting the Site against abuse; and producing internal statistics.

2.3Basis. The consent the User gives when registering and, for WhatsApp, when leaving their number; and the Organizer’s legitimate interest in the security of the Site and in its statistics.

2.4Emails may include open and click measurement.

3. Recipients and transfers

3.1The data is processed by providers that render services to the Organizer (web hosting, security, email, email delivery and messaging), which may store it outside Paraguay, including in the United States and the European Union. By registering, the User consents to these transfers. The data may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law or a court order. Otherwise, it is not transferred to third parties without the User’s consent.

4. Retention and security

4.1The data is kept while necessary for the stated purposes or until the User requests its deletion, and then for as long as needed to meet obligations or handle claims.

4.2The Organizer takes reasonable security measures, but absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

5. Rights and unsubscribing

5.1The User may request access to, rectification, deletion or portability of their data, object to its processing and withdraw consent by writing to [email protected] with the subject “Personal data”. The Organizer may ask the User to prove their identity.

5.2To stop receiving communications, use the link in each email or reply UNSUBSCRIBE to an email or STOP on WhatsApp.

6. Minors

6.1The Site is intended for people over 18. Minors may only register with the authorization of their mother, father or guardian.

7. Changes

7.1The Organizer may modify this Policy at any time. The version published on the Site applies.
